Our Strategy
The Action Alliance is dedicated to advancing the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention. Working with more than 250 national partners, the Action Alliance is implementing efforts aimed at reducing the annual suicide rate. Towards that end, the Action Alliance has identified three priority areas that hold the most promise for reducing suicide in the nation:
In addition to these three priorities, the Action Alliance is committed to ensuring progress in the following areas, which support and contribute to efforts across all three Action Alliance priority areas: research, data and surveillance, access to lethal means, and lived experience.
